About Us

Cors is an old Oban, family-run business — founded by a dedicated and hard-working Oban mother, built on pride in her hometown, perseverance, and a genuine passion for Highland hospitality.

That same spirit continues today, with Cors focused on delivering a smooth, personal experience for every guest — with each apartment carrying a piece of Oban’s story:

- The Creekstone Den sits on the site of the town’s first tavern, once known as The House of the Creekstone (Tigh Clach A’Gheodha).

 - The Rail & Ferry Den is housed in the last remaining building of Oban’s old railway company headquarters.

- The Distillers Den is a Victorian apartment overlooking the distillery, once home to local whisky makers who helped shape Oban’s industrial past.

At Cors, we value quality, reliability, and local connection. We’re proud to offer accommodation with true character and meaning — well-kept, authentic, and rich with the echoes of the Gaels who built our town.
